Just a quick update to announce some personal career news:

Earlier this month, I officially joined the Foreign Policy team at the Brookings Institution–a think tank in Washington, D.C. founded in 1916. Brookings has a tremendous team of foreign policy experts, and it is a great honor — and quite humbling — to join its Center for East Asia Policy Studies (CEAPS) as a Nonresident Senior Fellow.

(Just in case there’s any confusion, this new affiliation does not affect my status as a professor at Indiana University SGIS.)
