Following the announcement of China’s official FY2013 defense budget in early March 2013, an advance version of our article was cited widely in global media, including The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, The Guardian, The Hindu, and Aviation Weekly. We were also invited to present our findings in Washington, DC at the inaugural session of the Center for Strategic and International Studies’ (CSIS) “China Reality Check Speaker Series” on April 8, 2013.
